Colors of Malaysia part 1

Hello! Now I going to write about Colors of Malaysia.

What is color?

Color is a property that possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye asa result of theway the object reflects or emits lights.

Colors of Malaysia probably mean festivals of the country’s rich and beautiful culture, cuisine and handcrafts. Every festival has their specific colors. Colors of the three major festivals in our country are Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Deepavali.



To begin with, colors had possessed in Asian festival long time ago.



Chinese New Year is a festival that celebrates during the beginning of the year. This festival is celebrates by all the Buddhists. Most of their parents will buy new clothes for them because it is a new year in the Chinese calendar. They are also advice to wear red color shirts at the first day of Chinese New Year because it symbolizes the luck and prosperity for the family members. This festival is celebrates all around the Asian country. Visitors can expect to enjoy a colorful decoration around the city during the Chinese New Year month. Most of the red lanterns are hanged around the city to attract the visitors from other country. This is the example of positive qualities possession in colors of Malaysia.

Are the RED LANTERNS nice? It's hanging up there and they are my neighbors.


Besides that, Hari Raya is also a festival that celebrates in the month of September and October. Before celebrating Hari Raya, all the Muslims are required fasting for a month. Hari Raya marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.This has to do with the communal aspects of the fast, which expresses many of the basic value of the Muslim community. Fasting is believed by some scholar to extol fundamental distinctions, lauding the power of the spiritual realm, while acknowledging the subordination of the physical realm. Furthermore, The color of Hari Raya is green in color. This is because green represents their purification of themselves. They also give out green packets to their relatives. The green packet represents wishes to them. During this month, many hawker stalls is open during the evening. This is a type of culture in our country, Malaysia.

That is the sample of green packet.


Last but not least, Deepavali is a festival that celebrated by Indian. This celebration symbolizes the victory of good over evil or uplifting of spiritual darkness. Most of their houses decorate with lights. The lights signify the triumph of good over evil. It also can prevent catastrophe to happen in their family members or house. The color of their use is bright color because brighter color could bring prosperity for their family and business. It also can fight over the evil spirits. There is no specific color in this race. Most of them wear yellow, red, orange and many more bright colors.

In conclusion, Malaysia is a multinational country. This is the reason why Malaysia has so many different types of unique festivals that held here. It also gives us the chance to get to know each other and exchange the culture between one and another. Not only that, color is very important because it represents many things and people personality. This will enhance our life with more joy AND happiness.


Color is the key of harmony in Malaysia.
